Charleston & the Lowcountry

Belle of
the Bubbly

A walking champagne bar. She arrives with ninety filled flutes on her skirt and works the room — so your guests have a drink in hand before they ever find the bar.

What it is

The bar comes to them

The champagne skirt is a hand-built hoop dress that carries filled glasses on three concentric tiers — ninety at a time, at the perfect height to lift and go.

Instead of a line at the bar during cocktail hour, your hostess moves through the crowd. Guests get served the moment they walk in, the photos are unforgettable, and your bar staff stays free for everything else.

You pick the pour and supply it — which means no vendor markup on the bottles, and whatever you've chosen is what your guests get. The skirt, the hostess, and the setup are ours, and we can bring all ninety flutes too.

Questions

Before you ask

Who supplies the champagne?

You do — and that works in your favor. Most venues require alcohol to come through them or their licensed bar service anyway, and it means you're not paying a vendor markup on bottles. You choose exactly what's poured, whether that's a house prosecco or something worth talking about. We bring the skirt and the hostess, and we'll coordinate timing and refills directly with your caterer or bar staff.

How many glasses does she carry?

Ninety filled flutes across three tiers — enough to serve most cocktail hours without a single trip back. Refills are staged nearby for longer windows.

Do we need to supply ninety champagne flutes?

Only if you want to. Your venue or caterer may already have them — but if tracking down ninety matching flutes sounds like a headache, we'll bring the full set for $200. Most clients take us up on it.

Can we choose how she's styled?

Yes — tell us the dress code and the palette. She'll dress to match the event, whether that's black tie, garden party, cocktail, or a color that works with your wedding party. If you've got a specific theme in mind, mention it when you inquire and we'll work out what we can do.

How far will you travel?

Charleston and the Lowcountry are home — Mount Pleasant, Daniel Island, Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Kiawah, Seabrook, Johns Island, Folly Beach, Summerville. Past that, we travel. Hilton Head, Beaufort, Savannah, Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and further afield for the right event. Travel simply factors into the quote — if your date is somewhere else, ask.

What does it cost?

Bookings start at $400 for the one-hour package. From there the price moves with the hours you need, your guest count, and how far the venue is from downtown Charleston. Send your details and you'll have a flat, all-in number back within a day — no hourly surprises.

Can we serve something besides champagne?

Yes — prosecco, mimosas, sparkling cider for dry events, or a signature cocktail. Anything that holds up in a flute.

Can she pass food instead of drinks?

This is where it gets fun. The rings hold anything that sits neatly on a small plate, so passed hors d'oeuvres, canapés, or desserts are all possible — arranged and prepped with your caterer, who handles the food itself. If you've got an idea for the entrance course or a dessert moment, pitch it when you inquire.

How far in advance should we book?

Saturdays in spring and fall go first in Charleston. Two to three months out is comfortable; last-minute dates are worth asking about.
